Discussions related to the European climate objectives for 2030/2050 have moved to the governmental level, Mr. Dan Dragan – Secretary of State at the Ministry of Energy being present at this year’s edition of Energy Day Brasov integrated in the discussions Romania’s directions of action on eliminating coal as a European strategy to be one step closer to the 2030/2050 targets. Some EU Member States such as Belgium, Estonia or Lithuania have already taken decisions to phase out coal, while Romania, Bulgaria, Poland and Croatia have not yet taken such action.
