Faculty of Product Design and Environment, Transilvania University Brașov
Mr. Macedon Moldovan, Coordinator of the Renewable Energy Systems Engineering Studies Program, Faculty of Product and Environmental Design, Transilvania University of Brașov participated in the 12th edition of the Brașov Energy Day conference.
Mr. Moldovan discussed the bachelor’s degree program in Renewable Energy Systems Engineering, which was created in 2007 by Professor Ion Vişa from whom he took over its coordination in 2019. This program of studies operates within the Faculty of Product Design and Environment, a faculty where there are other industrial design programs in Romanian and English.
The professor informed guests about the fact that a research institute was developed in the northern area of Brașov, where 12 buildings with high energy efficiency were built; very importantly, there are a multitude of renewable energy systems starting from solar thermal collectors installed on each roof, heat pumps photovoltaic systems and so on.
